Garth Brooks serves as travel guide, lends voice to new project as narrator for NatGeo docuseries ‘America’s National Parks’!

Garth Brooks has made a name for himself with his singing voice and is one of the most popular artists in the world of music. But now he’s lending his voice to a new project – and you can hear Garth like you’ve never heard him before! It helps honor America’s national parks…something Brooks calls “our treasures.”

Starting August 29, we’ll hear him narrate “America’s National Parks,” a five-part documentary series from NatGeo. It all starts with a trip to the Grand Canyon.

“What you will learn with NatGeo is that national parks have been kind of preserved at a time when they were really a good source of income for some industries,” Brooks said. “So the courage this country has shown to actually preserve them as parks, and the vision this country has shown for the future is so amazing. So it’s a huge learning experience for me but at the same time. So entertaining.”

Brooks says he’d love to learn more about the diverse American scene.

“You can visit these things all day, but you won’t be able to see the things that have taken over,” Brooks said. “I say go visit! But, in the meantime, watch because you’ll feel like you’re there.”

Other parks we’ll visit include Yosemite, Big Bend, Badlands, and Hawaiian Volcanos. In addition to streaming on NatGeo, the entire series begins streaming on Disney+ August 31.

Disney is the parent company of this ABC station.
